About

I’m an Assistant Professor of Political Science at Angelo State University.  I specialize in the analysis of political ideas, and am particularly interested in certain themes in the history of Western political philosophy.  These themes include the political-religious relationship, the debate over equality and political control, and what it means to be a liberal.  I am also trained in quantitative research methods, and look for opportunities to bridge the divide between the empirical and theoretical worlds (which I hope are really one and the same).
